LHS Music Tech LIVE at eTech 2010

Here’s a highlight reel from our historic first live performance as a Music Technology program. DJ’s, singing, rapping, EWI’ing – it’s all here folks.

Be sure to check out the video wall that allows the crowd to see all angles and closeups of the performers. I’ll post a tutorial on how to make one yourself using Quartz Composer here soon!

  1. I don’t understand why people use vimeo. EVERYtime I try to access a video on that service it does not work well at all!

That being said… I like what you guys are doing – very cool. Our school has been discussing what we need to change to make music education relevant to todays world.

    1. Thanks for the feedback!

      Where do you teach?

We’ve been doing MT this way for 4 years now and we’ve had booked classes each year. If you need info to back up adding a class like this you might be interested in the previous post – it’s kind of my “advocacy” speech on the topic.

I like Vimeo because there isn’t a time limit like YouTube – just an upload limit per week. I’ll be even happier with it when the HTML5 player is default instead of Flash!
